Service History: Initially Public Schools Bn., enlisted 12 November 1914 ; Hawke Bn., invalided to UK 4 November 1915; Commissioned Temporary Sub Lieutenant, RNVR, 30 October 1917; Draft for BEF 13 February 1918, joined Hood Bn. 1 March 1918 - 23 March 1918, 3rd Army Musketry School, rejoined Hood Bn. 31 March 1918 -27 May 1918.
Died at Inchy, France, 3 September 1918. Burial: Queant Road Cemetery, Buissy, Departement du Pas-de-Calais, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France [Plot: VII. E. 3 1.]
